Born and raised on the South Shore of Boston, Dr. David Pellegrini graduated from Archbishop Williams High School before attending Princeton University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. While at Princeton, Dr. Pellegrini attained All-American Track and Field status as an NCAA National Champion in the hammer throw. He also played varsity football and received the Winston Roper Award for outstanding scholar-athlete.
Dr. Pellegrini then attended Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine where he earned his doctorate degree in 1983. Upon graduation, he immediately married his wife, Pam, and reported for duty in the US Navy, where he continued his dental education as a General Practice Resident at the Naval Hospital in Oakland, California. His next tour of duty took the Pellegrini’s to Sicily.
In 1987, Dr. Pellegrini started Pellegrini Dental in Duxbury. He and his wife have raised five children and they currently reside in Kingston. Dr. Pellegrini is an avid sailor and mountain biker. He has donated many hours running retreats for teens at Holy Family Church, helping the Junior Sailing Program at Plymouth Yacht Club, and traveling to Honduras, Central America with CapeCares to provide medical and dental relief.
